Analogue destruction

Death of an Era

I grew up as a kid during the birth of VHS and VCR society. Before Blockbusters sprouted up from the earth..

This scene reminds me of the strewn Audio Cassettes I used to see smashed and spilling its internals all over pavements.

A sense of loss and grief, even big stores are trying to shift there VHS stock . . It realy is the death of analogue video. With DVD production in overdrive and HD transmissions, we are securley swampped within the realm of Digital Video now.

I’ll always keep a VCR handy!
